Season begins with a draft in March. 8U and 10U games begin at the end of April and continue through the end of June. 12U games begin in mid-May and continue through early July.

The goal is to have the league seasons completed by the 4th of July, weather permitting.

Games and practices will be held at softball facilities around Dickinson including North Complex-DHS, Sanford Sports Complex-DSU, and Gress Complex.

Coaches schedule their team practices. Prior to the season coaches will practice 1-3 times a week. Once the games start coaches try to practice once a week in addition to their games.

Teams will play 1-4 games a week depending on the age division. 12U and 10U play doubleheaders. 8U will have 1-2 doubleheaders per season. Games are played Monday through Thursday nights.

League jerseys and socks are included in the league registration fee and are provided for each player. Players are responsible for providing their own black pants and belt.

Players will need their own glove and helmet. Cleats are recommended, but not required. No metal spikes.

The Diamonds have used helmets available for $25.

All age divisions have a tournament to end the season. The format will be determined based on the size and competitiveness of the league. There may be a gold and silver bracket in the age groups. The tournaments are planned for the end of June/beginning of July.
