Diamonds Travel

The Dickinson Diamonds are competitive fastpitch travel teams.

The primary emphasis of travel softball is skill development, teamwork, cooperation, sportsmanship and respect for others. While more emphasis is placed on competing and striving to win, winning is not the only focus of traveling softball. Recognizing that individuals will have different skill levels and needs, the program will seek to maximize the potential of every player. Each participant will be treated fairly and know that they are an important part of the team and that their contribution is valued.

The Diamonds' goal is to build a state championship high school team through our travel program.

Age Groups

10U B/C

12U B/C

14U

16U

18U

When

Evaluations for 10U and 12U take place in March.

Players interested in travel must be registered by March 9 to be included in evaluation communications.

Tournament play runs from June to August.

Where

Tournaments are selected by the coaches but teams can expect to travel in MT, ND, SD, MN, and MB.

Practices

Teams usually practice 3-5 teams per week.

Games

Teams will attend 4-6 tournaments per summer. They may also play games during the week with other clubs in the area.

3rd Year 8U Players

3rd year 8u players that are interested in traveling should complete a registration. There is no fee unless the player is offered a spot on a roster after evaluations. Depending on registration numbers the Diamonds have relied on 8U players to fill out the 10U travel teams. The fee will be $125.

$200 per player (14U, 16/18U)

Opt-Up Evaluation Fee

$50 per player (Optional evaluation for those interested in moving up an age division.)
